Today's the big day for our Twelve by Twelve "water" reveal. This has been the only project that I have managed to work on the last month. Read more about it on the Twevle by Twelve blog.
I finally caught up on all your posts - you are some prolific artist! Loved all the rich colors. I really liked what you said about your dream ATC's, about how they need to stay wrapped tightly like a newborn until they've grown a bit.
This water quilt is lovely. I did something similar with a background on a mermaid underwater quilt I did for a friend a few years back. It was really a lot of fun to do and I liked how it turned out. I had to use the fabrics that came in the swap, where yours is more cohesive.

This is absolutely, gloriously beautiful: a lovely peice of work.
Great colors and very evocative. Have you considered expanding on this to make it a submission for this year's Journal Quilt Project?
The most perfect way to describe water! So many blues, lovely waves.

Love it. It looks like a drawing I have on my design wall! Great minds think alike. LOL
