The Reason Why I've Been a Bad Blogger

I know, I know! I've been a very bad blogger. I just can't help it. We bought a sailboat two weeks ago and have escaped the Northwest heat wave by spending as much time as possible on the water. Despite a few mishaps like a dead motor, being towed back to the marina by a power boat, and a cracked rib on my husband's part, we've had a wonderful time. My creative time a been lacking a little, but around here you need to grab the sun while you can! We even were able to watch "Whaling Days" fireworks from the boat and swim in the only warm part of the Puget Sound. And if we're really lucky, there is enough wind to actually sail. Now I'm off to pack a picnic dinner so we can head down to the boat as soon as my husband gets home from work.

Your boat is nice. When I was growing up my dad had first a Catalina 22 and then an Erickson 34 or 35 or 36 can't remember. I had many good times sailing. Have fun and watch out for sunburn!

That is the BEST reason to be a bad blogger!!! Have wonderful fun, I do miss sailing (now a bit far from water in the bush - not to mention drought...sigh)!
Is she a Clansman? Looks like lovely times ahead whatever.
Hugs,

Nikki,

Why would anyone blog when they can be out on the water in a sail boat, very sensible.
