Quilting Arts Embellishments

Does the background art look familiar? My inch wall-hanging was featured in the Quilting Art embellishments newsletter on December 26th. I was so excited to hear from the magazine that they wanted me to write a short how-to article about my wall hanging. Luckily the writing went very smoothly and only added a day of stress to the week before Christmas. Then I woke the day after Christmas to a wonderful gift in email box.
This issue of the newsletter hasn't made it to the archives yet, but I will post a link when it appears. For now, if you would like me to forward you the newsletter I would be more than happy. Just send me your email, nikkiwheeler@earthlink.net, and I will get to it asap.

Hi!
Congratulations! You deserve it. I'll look forward to the link.

Now, about those quilts....they are simply amazing. The blue ones are so like the wonderful pieces you sent me. I've examined them over and over again and cannot possible figure out how you manage such nice stitching. True, I don't usually engage my machine's dog-feed....so, most of your incredible work just flies over head. Still, you've inspired me in so many way through the past year. I look forward to seeing you bloom into the artist you were born to be..despite the elementary and college day set-backs.

Also, thank you so much for your recent email. Please know, I don't go to bed without checking on Maddie too. She's in my heart and prayers (along with her entire family and yours).

I posted over a week ago that I recognized them - I posted under the actual "inchie" post. I knew them immediately because they are soooooo gorgeous!!! How fun and exciting. Isn't it wonderful that your creativity has been "officially" recognized!
Congratulatory HUG to you girl.
